A couple songs into the Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals show last night, it struck me that the outdoor setting at Weesner Family Amphitheater was the perfect place to be experiencing this music performed live. Harper is no doubt a charismatic performer able to deliver a strong message in whatever project he takes on, but having the full Innocent Criminals band reunited was electric.
